These Swahili inspired wooden combs are all handmade out of reclaimed local hardwood.
The combs are decorated with traditional Swahili designs to make eah one truly unique. Each comb is specifically cut along the grain of wood to ensure that they are stong enough to be used on any hair type. After carving, they are sanded to a very smooth finish and additionally burnished to a high shine and satin feeling. The combs are finished with linseed oil to bring out the beauty of the natural wood grain
The combs are valued from $60 depending on design and size.
